1. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has been prized as an all natural skin care remedy for multiple skin problems and wound care is one of them. Aloe Vera gel has potent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties that make it ideal for tissue repair in case of open wounds, deep cuts and bruises. You can use it on wounds, cuts and nicks caused by trauma, on bedsores in bedridden patients, on a dark eye caused by a blow and numerous other kinds of wounds.
How to use: Extract the gel from Aloe Vera leaf. Apply it all over the irritated skin. You can even use store-brought aloe vera lotions or creams. In case of burns, wash the area with cold water before using Aloe on it.
2. Agrimony leaves
Agrimony is a renowned wound healer. It can be made into a tea to wash wounds. You can even drink the tea to strengthen the body internally so it can heal wounds without antibiotics. Agrimony belongs to the rose family and, like roses and rose hips, it can be used to cure bleeding and heal wounds due to its astringent properties.
How to use: Brew agrimony leaves in water. Steep it for 5-10 minutes. Cool the tea completely. Pour the cooled tea on the wound, laceration or cuts.
Honey is a wonderful healing, soothing, anti-septic and anti-microbial remedy. In a study in Egypt, researchers applied honey to 30 patients having diabetic ulcers. In 43% of the cases, the wounds healed completely. If you have a wound that refuses to heal, use the honey treatment to see quick results!
Believe it or not, sugar can heal bed sores and wounds that do not heal quickly.
How to use: Make a paste of antiseptic ointment and sugar and apply a layer of the mixture to the bedsores or open wounds. In a few days the wounds/sores would have healed completely. Many hospitals and hospices also use a mixture of milk of magnesia and sugar on bed sores to heal them completely.

Do not allow the hydrogen peroxide to remain on the open wounds for more than 30 seconds as it can harm living tissues. For major open wounds with debris, avoid this remedy.
How to use: Pour the peroxide on a clean cotton wool. Wipe the wound with it. Immediately apply an antiseptic cream.
Plantain is your ally when you want to heal wounds quickly. It is an antiseptic which quickly heals wounds and stops bleeding, reduces swelling and prevents pain and inflammation.
How to use: Make a poultice with plantain and apply on the wound. Leave it on for few hours. Replace with a new one and repeat application till the wound is healed.
9. Witch hazel
Witch hazel is an astringent which can heal and repair the skin quickly. It is an ideal natural remedy to prevent infections in deeper cuts and open wounds. The twigs, leaves and flowers of witch hazel are rich in tannins and help stop bleeding, swelling and bruising.
How to use: Take some witch hazel on a clean, sterile cotton wool and apply to the irritated areas of the skin.
Yarrow is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and pain reducing. It can be used to stop bleeding quickly.
How to use: brew the tea of Yarrow leaves/teabags and pour it on the wound to stop bleeding.
